Mowed the lawn and now waiting for a contractor to show up and give an estimate , he was supposed to be here yesterday but rescheduled at the last minute.

If he actually comes, he’s got the job, since he’s the only one to actually call and reschedule, the last four I’ve talked to just never showed up.

I took my 5-year-old son on his “biggest hike ever” which is the mountain behind our house that I bike up all the time. However, it’s 1000 vertical from the trailhead and 1.6 miles to the top. We were walking in the woods for exactly 3 hours (literally, 2:59.38) and he had a great time, therefore so did I.

Now having a beer, and having friends over later and I’m making pizza for everybody. In between I’m going to get an old salvage window for my shed.

Also moving! Sort of, my parents came to visit last weekend and helped me knock out the real moving but finishing up organizing and setting up my new place and doing a final clean of my old one before turning in the keys this week. Although by that I mean currently sitting on the couch watching top gear and doing none of those things.

Yeah! Still Bellingham, just changed apartments. When I moved here in January I took over a lease and it’s up at the start of July

Finished painting the nursery. Watered my blueberries (making sure they get good and solid this year) and potted lemon cypresses next to the garage door.

We also made a run to Costco to spend way too much money on food and stuff.

My friends who live nearby knew nothing about it, but they did say that the bar I spotted the sign at was a pretty intense biker bar with a some gnarly fights every couple of days
